Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Placeholder. This is a working draft to be reviewed and finalised before launch — including alignment with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It is not yet legal advice.

This policy explains how Easy Enquiry ("we", "us") handles personal information when providing our lead-response and appointment-booking service to mortgage brokerages.

What we collect

On behalf of a brokerage we work with, we handle the information contained in the enquiries that brokerage receives — typically a person's name, contact details, and what they have enquired about — so we can respond, ask brokerage-approved logistics questions, and book a conversation.

How we use it

We use this information only to respond to enquiries, follow up, book appointments, escalate to the brokerage's staff where required, and report on outcomes. We respond only to people who have enquired with the brokerage — we do not cold-message anyone.

Consent and opt-out

Consent and opt-out processes are configured with each brokerage before launch, consistent with the Australian Spam Act 2003. Anyone can opt out of further messages at any time and can ask to speak with a person.

Disclosure and storage

Personal information is handled within the systems used to deliver the service and is shared with the relevant brokerage. We do not sell personal information. [Name your data processors / sub-processors and hosting locations here before launch.]

Access, correction and complaints

You can request access to or correction of the personal information we hold, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting us at our contact email. [Add complaint-handling steps and OAIC referral before launch.]
